Legal Experience – Kenny Lieux for Vermilion Municipal Judge
With over three decades of courtroom experience, Attorney Kenneth (Kenny) M. Lieux brings unmatched legal knowledge and judicial readiness to his independent candidacy for Vermilion Municipal Judge.
Kenny has practiced law across Northern Ohio since 1984, including licensure in California and before the United States Supreme Court. His career spans service as an Assistant Public Defender, Assistant Prosecutor, Acting Judge in both Vermilion and Elyria Municipal Courts, and arbitrator for the Lorain County Common Pleas Court.
He’s been Rule 20 certified as Lead Trial Counsel in Capital Murder cases, and has handled everything from minor traffic violations to the most serious felony charges. Kenny has represented individuals and families from every walk of life, with deep respect for the role of Municipal Courts as true community courts.
Currently serving as Acting Judge in the Vermilion Municipal Court, Kenny is ready to step into this role full-time—bringing his legal expertise, balanced temperament, and lifelong dedication to justice to the bench.
