Leadership – Kenny Lieux for Vermilion Municipal Judge
Kenny Lieux has demonstrated strong and consistent leadership throughout his 40-year legal career, both in the courtroom and in public service across Northern Ohio.
As an Acting Judge in the Vermilion and Elyria Municipal Courts, Kenny has guided proceedings with fairness and professionalism, earning the trust of multiple sitting judges. His role as Lead Trial Counsel in capital cases, Rule 20 certified, highlights his ability to lead even in the most complex and high-stakes legal matters.
Outside the courtroom, Kenny has held key leadership roles including:
- Chairman of the Vermilion Civil Service Commission, appointed by two mayors
- Board Member of the Lorain County Metroparks
- Member of the Lorain County Corrections Planning Board
- Committee member for Legal Ethics and Grievances through the Lorain County Bar Association
